Joomak - fantastic Korean food

the Christmas tree at the back was decorated with lots of crazy blinking neon lights that blasts into my retina.. LOL..

yeah, this peanuts.. not sure what are they... tastes weird...

kimchi tofu soup.. not too bad.. the tofu was very soft

I ordered this one, made it spicy but doesn't taste spicy at all. Chicken pieces were cooked to a very soft finish, served with a few slices of potatoes, onions...

sweet pork, I would rate this as the star of the night. surprisingly good! must try.
Finally went to Joomak with Erlinda tonight, didn't book a place so was lucky enough to have 1 table at the end for 2 until 8pm.

The food was very very good, well most of them anyway. Delicious! Highly recommended, especially the sweet pork (surprisingly good without spicy sauce) and the spicy chicken (not so spicy after all).

The place can be hard to locate at first because it's at underground level. Just peak inside a building when you reach the area, you can see their sign there by the wall inside at the staircase.

Cocoon - Grid-IT Accessory Organizer mini review

Saw this a while ago at Apple store and now finally decided to pick one up.

For the uninitiated, it's basically as what it sounds like. Accessories organizer for your backpack. What I have here is M size, AUD29.90, and it fits nicely into my backpack.

the packaging is pretty simple, with graphics of stuff you can slide into each of the rubber band straps printed on the clear plastic case.
shows you each different sizes and types of accessories it holds

the back was pretty simple, nothing much but a little tag

my sample setup, of course my PS Vita won't be strapped there, my backpack has a separate compartment at the back for easier reach and retrieval

In case you were wondering, these rubber band straps are pretty strong and flexible at the same time,  they should hold off pretty well against constant usage and they snap back strongly so it should be able to hold your gadgets/accessories in place firmly as much as possible. Besides, it has a lot of intersecting bands so you would be able to find a place to hold your particular gadget with no problem.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with this. I think it's particular useful for someone who has less compartments in their backpack or want an easier place to hold each items and you can pull them out easily which makes this very useful. Just check the size and see which one fits your need.

Tesselaar Tulip Festival 2013

It's Spring time! Meaning a lot more adventure than Winter, well it's still generally cold and the weather can be unstable as well.

This trip sees us travelled to the Tesselaar Tulip Festival. Flowers were blooming but there are still some empty space here and there. Weather was generally good, not too cold and definitely not sunny.

Hence, I present to you a plethora of tulips and flowers I managed to take, along with other objects.

Then I saw this... hahaha, couldn't help myself but rushed in front and take constant photos of him. Surprise info? He's only 2 years old! omg... such an adorable boy!

Then we sat down a while to catch our breath and have some light lunch. I went over to a booth and saw one selling chili sauce. I took a cracker and tasted one, then move on to test the hottest chili sauce!

See the label, ATOMIC MEGA DESTRUCTION. Who wouldn't want to right? A few bites it was still okay, right to the end of it, then it gets you. It was beyond anything I have tasted before.... burnt my lips.. haha, but a good experience.

Last but not least, my favorite flowers of all? See below.. :)

Yes, Sakura or the cherry blossom. I wish to see the one in Japan next time... for now, this one works as well. ^^
