It has been really a long time since I went for street photography, last time I did it was years back with Calvin when I first bought my dslr.
How time has passed, dslr was booming back then for a while and then it sort of died off.
Seeing that I have a little bit of time in this small break, I just asked Calvin if he's interested to do this. Naturally, we're in and off we go.
Parked the car at NWP and then head off around Hutton lane and made our way towards Komtar.

one of the shop put this up, in conjunction with upcoming CNY |
|
quiet alley, I kinda like this piece a lot |
|
stumbled across this cat who was resting around the wall at the police station. Snapped a few shots of it, was kinda playful, walked zig zagging across the fences and constantly looking at the lens |
|
lonely sofa at night, probably occupied in the early hour |
|
time to juice up... I totally didn't expect they would serve the drink in such big bottle |
|
what would night photography complete without a little bit of light trails? red cos the traffic flows upwards from this shot, it's the vehicle's tail lights |
|
frontal shot, light trails... set the camera up at the pedestrian bridge |
|
to end the event with, a nice and smooth egg tart and char siew pao |
So there you go, I would like to do this at least once, while I still have the chance.
You know, with all the distractions in the world today, we tend to take things for granted. Rarely we would get off our lazy butt and go do something that we wanted. We would just think for a sec, then procrastinate, saying something like... "next time, I will...
".
Most often than not, that wouldn't happen. We would just wait and wait and wait until god knows when. I'm not perfect, at least in this past 2 years, I've learned not to take things for granted that much. Still learning, but keeping the important motto "life without regrets".
What about you? Go out and get something you wanted to do, done... now! :)
