My new bottle - Bros

Hmm, let's see. I've got 3 water bottles now. 1 at home, 1 at work and..well.. 1 for something in between.. for outing. ahh.. yes..

I noticed that people around me uses this brand called Bros, the bottle's design is kinda nice. Sook Teng has cats style, Shangyih has... well.. never mind that.. i dun really know what design he had.. some some other people i happened to bumped into.

Looked nice, reminds me of... something like what Swatch did to watches. Funky, teeny energetic feel to it. I went to Popular bookstore warehouse sale in Midlands today and as I approach the cashier to check out my stuff I saw a bunch of these at the further end and naturally, I went to pick one up.

This particular design caught my eyes... simple, plain with some Chinese text of food menu. :)

Do you own Bros too? or any other brand like Tupperware?

Finger painted based on nice B&W pic i've found using the cooliris app for iPhone. alter a bit bit of the hairdo.. they say she's a bit spooky. Was it her eyes? hahhaa.. or cos of the overall tone of the color?

Penang Bridge International Marathon 2009

Parked inside Queensbay's multi storey car park and walked down from the ramp.. took some snapshots too..

Today me and a bunch of people participated in the annual Penang Bridge International Marathon. This was my 5th time if not mistaken, but after the painful lesson I've learned last year, I only participated in the fun run this year.

Last year I went for the usual Half Marathon - can't really remember the actual distance but somewhere between 23 - 25km. The stipulated time was 3hours 30mins, I completed it in around 4 hours.. @_@ Reason being that I have not participated in the event for some years already and didn't really go on to any training. Painful lesson that was, I just got my camera not long hence I brought along my D60.. boy oh boy... was that a heavy burden to the already heavy journey.. hahahhaa. But I did took some shots and pretty glad with them.

Me and Ishtar plastered the free "breathe right" thingy onto our nose. It has some spring mechanism which lift out both sides of your nose hence enlarging the nose and increase air intake with each breath =)

This year is strictly fun run with the gang, 10km without needing to match any actual time. We did it in around 1 and a half hour. compared to 4 hours i took last year this is actually very good.

Started at 7:30am ended around 9am :)

Mission completed by Ishtar! I don't really feel any achievement since this is the so call fun run. haha...

Last but not least, our CM drawing out the lucky number for the grand prize... a national car.. sadly none of us got it.

Tired - My Art - Forest Pixies

Well, recently... er, at least this 2 weeks I've been feeling extremely tired. I would go home and bathe and then take a short nap before fetching my mum back from work around 10pm.

I never really got the energy to paint.. only edited a few photos here n there. I can't figure out why. Perhaps my sleeping posture needs adjustment. I skipped my dinner too at times only to take some supper right after fetching my mum to save me time to nap 2 hours.

A while ago I received this email stating that the India SAP CEO died at a very young age (click on the link to see the news).

The problem? Lack of sleep... wow, he only slept like 5 - 6 hours per day... although he did exercised, sleep is not something you can replace apparently.

I'm fixing the problem and gotta take more fruits to cleans my body as well.. being taking a lot of meat, although i do take a lot of veges too, i think fruits are better to cleans the body. haha...

Oh and erm, I know this painting doesn't look that decent but it's the only one I'm able to put up right now. : ) thanks for viewing.. have a great day!

My new lens - Nikkor AF 50mm f1.8!

Have been using my dad's lens for more than a year, sometimes it worked, sometimes when fast moving objects are involved.. i'm having difficulty manual focusing with my hand. it's just not fast enough... I can do Manual aperture, Manual shutter... but the focusing is just hard.. missed a few moments before.

Seems that this month I'll be attending a few weddings, I got this lens to test it out! :)

For those uninitiated, this lens is what many regarded as a good portrait lens and its not that expensive at all... thanks to the one without any auto focus motor built-in as my D90 has the built in motor... saved a few bucks there...

Price is RM370. :)

Wei Leng n Lai Siang wedding

My good ol' cousin - Wei Leng finally got wedded last weekend with her boy friend. : )

Now all 3 of them already got married.. some more in sequence! Eldest sis, her twin sister and now her. :)

Wish them prosperity throughout many many years to comes!

KitKat - special edtion!

well, as you might know... i loved Kit Kat chocolate bar... hence... my blog and my nick name... :)

Got this from a colleague who traveled to Japan recently.. I know it's special edition just that i didn't look at the title.

I shared the small 2 fingers bar with my parents... it tasted... salty.. LOL... then i looked at the box.. ooh.. no wonder...

not bad... wish we have some special edition here too... Laksa flavour? tom yam? spicy?

The box is very neatly done... Japanese packaging so.. I wouldn't expect anything less.. :) didn't really collect it though... i've "collected" it here... virtually...

Photoshoot at Peranakan Mansion - A Penang Heritage Site!

Since I've seen Calvin and Felicia's photo from this place, I've been wanting to visit it.

The entrance fee is RM10 for adults, not sure bout kids. It was well worth it. There's a lot to be seen here, mainly in Baba and Nyoya themes. Antiques, wardrobes, Dresses, Cups, etc, you name it and most probably this place has it.

Have a look at some samples here, sorry... still most of them are from portrait shot of our wonderful sporting model - Ishtar! :) hope I did her justice this round.
