Switch World 2009 - Part 4 - my Segway ride @ 7th June 2009

One of the other thing that I did during the Switch world 2009 was... I paid RM10 and rode on the freakingly awesome Segway!

For those uninitiated, Segway is the 2 wheels personal transport that's designed to take u to places on short distance. Well, at least not replacing the car entirely but it's environmental friendly as it uses batteries instead of fuel.

Now what's neat about this 2 wheeled transport is... instead of aligned front and back like a regular, wheels are at the side of each other.

In case u've missed the chance this turn, dun forget to go take a ride next time. RM10 per ride of 5 circles around Gurney Place may sound short but its not the distance but the unique experience of just leaning your body to move forward instead of twisting the handle and lean backwards to stop. Turn the handle bars left right to maneuver around places. :)
