Little Doggie visit @ 11th July 09

Visited this dog called little doggie at SP... my mum and I loved it so much... he's quite cute.

Noticed that he has a very fluffy fur around his face.. made him looks like a lion when sitting down.

He has the tendency to stand up on two legs very often... and my mum kinda hold his front paws and played with him...

More to come during future visits!

He longed for a good cuddle... too bad his owner doesn't do that...

Too bad our place can't keep dog now.. else we would have ask him from the owner and bring him home. :) oh well, perhaps future..

Transformers Alternity Megatron - Nissan Fairlady Z Premium Lemans Blue ver.

A while ago (actually March) I've posted my previous collection of the Transformers Alternity Convoy (Optimus Prime) and today I'm gonna post up an entry based on Autobots' arch nemesis - mighty Megatron! also in the Alternity line, this time featured in Nissan Fairlady Z car.

Initiall I didn't think I wanted to get this guy, seeing from the photos that the design is almost the same... not sure if i wanted to fork out the extra cash for it or not but after seeing the transformation video from youtube, I realized that the difference is enough for me to pick him up and i did!

Not really fond of the blue color for Megatron, there's another dark silver version.. see if i could get it this week.. i'll sell this off perhaps.. hahahahha.. Megatron is much more appropriate in dark colors.

Anyway, the look of the car is almost the same with Convoy except the boot of the car doesnt opens up like a real car, instead, it opens up entirely for the transformation. Another downside is that both the passengers' door could not open wide, as wide as a car because of the transformation as well.. it can open like.. around 30degrees vs. some 45 - 50 degrees of the Convoy's version.

The plus side however, was that they reduced the die casted part of the "backbone" of the car which may seemed like a plus or minus depending on how u look at it. This adds more stability to the figure as I'm experiencing a lot of trouble just to have Convoy standing up straight let alone any dynamic poses. megatron has stronger ball join on his feet too!

And, he is all Samurai-ish looking with the samurai's armor shoulder pad and crotch guard!

and he even have twin Katana blades! talk about coolness~~~

Shoulder blades on each side of the arm, Convoy has twin blasters...

So there you go, just a brief description and hopefully the photos tells more than I did. :) overall a very good and recommended figure for Transformers enthusist!

Let the battle begins!

Transformers Masterpiece Megatron

It's the Transformers season folks! the 2nd Michael Bay's movie's up.. so.. I took this opportunity to do this post.

Alright, for those Transformers collectors out there... you probably may or may not skip this.. seeing that this toy is somehow 2 years old... but then.. well, I didnt really have him ..cos I've sold it to my friend whom I borrowed this guy over for a photoshoot for myself to keep.

Masterpiece Megatron.. the Decepticon leader himself.. He transforms into a P38 Walter hand gun.. Initially I would transform him into gun mode and snap some photos of him and transform him back.. cos his container is moulded in his robot form, i couldn't keep him if i just leave him in gun mode.. from my previous 'scary' experience... transforming this bad boy took up more than 1 hour of my time. First, the insane amount of engineering work put into this guy are overwhelming. They really made it to be as G1 cartoon accurate as possible... hey.. it is a masterpiece isn't it?

Again, this is not a toy for kid.. its just too complex to transform.. oh well, perhaps kids can just have him in robot mode... :p

So... after some thought, I decided not to waste my own time and just snap some pose of him together with his accesories. :)

For those who dunno, here's Masterpiece Megatron, the bad guy Decepticon's menacing leader.

P/S: Thanks to Eric for lending me the toy!

Drew and painted for 1 week long.. of cos weekdays just a few hours. But I've started since last Saturday 11something and ended today.. Saturday.. 12pm... phew....

My 2nd attempt at painting... I kinda like it a lot.... perhaps I should have it printed out and hang on my wall to encourage myself further...

Paint...and paint and paint...

Actually, apologize for the lack of post this week cos i'm hard at work for my 2nd painting piece. yea... first one was the "battle fish" a few posts ago.. and now i'm attempting at my 2nd try. Hopefully it turned out to be good. I began work late at night last Saturday and now i'm around 75% completion.

Every morning when I wake up...i'll take another look at my work in progress.. it kinda energizes me quite a bit... seeing the fact that i'm doing something i like and later on able to share it with all my friends out there... really makes it worthwhile and better instead of traditionally i would just sketch in my book and keep.

Have you ever do anything that you can share with ppl out there that makes u look forward to the next morning when you wake up?

Anyway, will post up my work here very soon.. stay tuned. ;)
