*song of Casey - 谢文雅 repeatedly playing on the background...*
Barry came over today and asked me out, initially first place that popped into my mind was QB... and suddenly.. out of no where, an idea popped up in my head.... Sunway carnival!... alright, seeing that he's beside me.. its time to test out my GPS device... N85!
And off we go... spontaneously.. hahahaha.. first time venturing into the unknown. Had him followed the GPS instruction and checking out the real time navigation map to see if we're on track cos I dun have any phone holder yet. But after a while, tada! we reached safely... guess its not that complicated as I've imagined.
Walked around, Sunway carnival... not much ppl insight. Perhaps today is still weekday and a lot of people are still working. the mall's not that huge, just 3 stories if not mistaken. Top floor there's GSC cinema.
Went off from there after 1 hour only and not back to home but to AEON seberang prai. I couldn't get the place on my GPS so I called WH to check the place's name.
Initially I thought it was called Jaya Jusco... silly me. But then I pointed it to guide us to Perda City... and after a few circles, we reached!
The first impression of this mall was... boy its huge! I think it's even larger than Queensbay mall...
gosh, after a while of strolling around the mall.. the conclusion was.. the shop lots design.. the mall's layout is much more similiar to those from KL... mall itself is very similiar to the er.. 'Jusco mall in Johor'... LOL... nice.
Had lunch at Nando's here. Later on, we took a walk.. and saw there's a lot of nice restaurants around the other floor.. gosh... next time gotta try these... not so generic ones.. :)
Gotta ask my gang here next round. Organizing a trip here on one of the weekend next year!
Overall, nice trip. Bought myself this girl's EP album... introduce to you guy Casey - 谢文雅. very sweet voice. :)
Guess some of you are already preparing for new year countdown eh? or treating it as a normal day?

30th Dec 2008 movie dinner ferry outing
Went for a small group gathering of me, shangyih, calvin and beeshan yesterday. Watched 'TheSpirit' at Gurney plaza... the movie... wow.. how do i put it?... it's... some how hilarious.. not in a good way, should be avoided unless u really like 'Sin city' the movie... >_<
Had dinner at Tree Shade seafood restaurant at Weld Quay.. just opposite of Penang Jetty, can't miss it. The place was jam packed with people as we arrived around 7:45pm. sat across the other side of the restaurant in a semi cooling section of the place.
ShangYih ordered a few dishes and they tasted okay.. not bad, not particularly good till i can stand out and shout 'yummy' but still acceptable. 1 thing that is good will be the speed of serving, it took them around 10 - 15mins upon sitting down and having our drinks till they served us the first dish all the way till the 5th one. Very fast! Food was decently priced as well, RM38 for 4 dishes and 1 soup. Can check it out if u're a fan of 'zhu cha' style.
Then all of us took a ride at BeeShan's car, cross the ferry...I took a few shots of night scene and then 3 of us waited for the ferry back.
Felt the cool and calm night breeze when the ferry was heading to and fro the island. Nice! what a way to start the night!
Thanks guy for askin... :)

George
Went out with my buddy Julian and he passed me a gingerbread man from his mum. hmmm, previously auntie also gives me gingerbread man before but since I wanna post it up here, might as well make it a bit fancy.
George the Gingerbread man is...well our gingerbread man of the day, all wrapped up in a nice plastic bag and tied up neatly. I took a few snap of him and took him out of the wrapping.
What would go down nicely with gingerbread man? a cup of milk and that's what I did. :)
mmm .... yummy... reminded me of the gingerbread man peinee bought from Coffee Bean last year for the gift exchange session. :p
Nice knowing you George.... and thanks auntie!
When do you last had your gingerbread man?
P/S: soli... for the last pic I kinda accidentally snapped his entire head off while taking him off from the plastic bag... but nothing short of a few saliva drops and clever balancing won't fix.

Changes
Can't help but noticed that Georgetown's traffic has got worsen... hmm, the last time I check it was jam.. but not like this. let's see, Christmas is over... well I tell myself perhaps ppl are still flooding the street to rush for year end bargain from Christmas celebration that I'm sure still going on now. hmmm... terrible, you know it's Jam packed even when motorists are having difficulties traversing along the road.
Previously when government announced the petrol price increase to a drastic 2.8 per litre, this caused a domino effect on the rest of the stuff.. including food. Tom Yam I used to eat shot up from RM4 to RM5... I can only think of this first cos these are the one I can remember which shocked me when they replaced the price tag.. and you know it's pricey even when the petrol price has been brought down quite a notch and the food price still remained at the high range.
Received a few friend's and relative's invitation to their weddings, wow... everyone is moving towards the next stage in their life... marriage! last time I used to hang out with my cousins a lot, we grew up together, some other friends... used to go out quite frequently together.. almost daily during high school days... are no where to be seen as each of them have their own family right now or moved out from the Island. you know they've moved on to the next stage in their life when your phone doesn't ring or sms which came in are not from those people...gotta miss those moments.. :)
I used to play my Lego collection my dad bought for me and some which I have accumulated throughout the years... before you lable me as childish for playing LEGO, mind you it has helped train me to what I am today... a teenie meenie more creative have I not been playing with it when I was a child. I still occasionally buy a few of those small sets but not that frequent anymore.. I combined them together in hope to have more building blocks for a much more complex creation... but when almost each time I take the box out in hope to create something... my mind would get lost... scrambling through the parts... not knowing what to assemble.. how to assemble anymore... gosh... I know it's not big deal... it's just another collectibles... but.. some part of me felt missing.. and I know I've slowly moved on...away from these stuff as day goes by... (getting old liao. =p)
Each day no matter afternoon or at night, I'm sweating my shirt off... I took like 3 to 4 times bathe each day... its warm day and night. you know something's really wrong with our earth given the polution we're creating each day.
some change is good while others are bad... what changes have u witness these days?

Christmas eve BBQ 2008
Been asked to join along Penny's bbq event with her friends yesterday so off we go. I actually bought the wrong potatoes for the event... LOL... sweet potatoes.. not potatoes.. =_=! sorry bout that.
Anyway, arrived around 7pm, parked our car along the high way, brought stuff down to the beach and start setting up everything.
Never really prepared any bbq stuff hands on b4 (hence the potatoes mistake) but I do have a few bbq experience b4... : )
Anyway, it was nice... the chicken wing's good.. same goes for the satays... sweet corns and the company. nice having bbq by the seaside which marks the beginning of my long 11 days off from work till next year.
10 of us were there, met a lot of new faces... not bad for a way to end the year and ushering the new ones.
Thanks guys for having me...
P/S: Merry Christmas to all! :)

Farewell Lunch - BT n Gang
Surprised to hear that we'll be having a farewell gathering for BT but it happened. In these trying times, not sure who to blame... anyhow, anyway...someone has been hurt, disappointed, angered... I guess its true to see who are your real friends in times of hardship. :)
So I dedicate this blog entry to BT la.. :)
On with the gathering, our Orkuinizer..sorry.. Organizer- Mr. Gan assembled each of us thru chain mails.. and venue n time was set. Cititel Hotel lunch buffet and off we go!
It's nice to see some old faces which we've missed ever since each of us went our separate ways years ago. BT was one of the oldest staff and one of the most hardworking among us all. :)
Onwards with the photos la...
P/S: to sum up BT's working attitude in 3 words: Hardworking, Dedicated and Caring. All the best friend... :)
