Mini CNY gathering @ OldTown cafe Queensbay Mall

Had a very small gathering of 9 ex-college mates at OldTown cafe. Brief chat, food and beverages only.

Well, a very Happy Chinese New Year to all of the readers :) (wait, b4 u guys say anything.. i know this post has nothing to do with CNY... it just happened so I snapped this up during CNY. hahaha.. i'll post something related to CNY soon... : ) )

I went back to my mum's hometown as usual to visit relatives for a yearly gathering :)

There's this temple which I know it existed but never really paid any attention to it till this year. Well, its safe to say after I bought my dslr last year.. things haven't been the same since then. Started paying attention to places, landscapes, peoples for opportunity to snap.

Here's the nice temple at nibong tebal. Hope you'll like it as much as I do... the skies were clear and sunny... good day for a nice photoshoot + sunburn. :p

Appreciation dinner - Audees

The team director and managers were very kind to throw us this team appreciation dinner right b4 Chinese New Year last week. :) very very happy to get free meals hehehee.. thanks a lot!

Arrived at Audees with the gang and shoot around the area while waiting for the rest to get there. The atmosphere was okay with a few decos.


The food was served in a series of a few courses, I wouldn't say nice but it was better than average. It was French style and when we look at the menu we had no idea what those meant. :p

Anyway, enjoy the pics and those of you who wanted to go there can check out the restaurant.


P/S: dress code for the day was Red! and i think the best dressed should be sookteng.. wahahaha (to show that check out the photo below... she even wore red shoe...)

Gurney Drive night photography @ 23rd Jan 09

After the brief photoshoot at Adventist hospital we set off to Gurney Drive for the next session.

Was shooting at the roundabout when we noticed a performance going on... seeing that it's quite interesting and involved fire... i immediately ran towards there with my camera.

Performance was quite nice... can smell the kerosene ... 0_0

Made some donations b4 we left... it was fun...seeing these road show.. : )

Make-a-wish, Make-a-change

Felicia asked if i wanna make a donation for the event held by Adventist hospital, I agreed. She handed me 1 star for me to write my little wish and it will be hanged on the tree leaves there.

Yesterday we went and do some shooting... that's my stars =D

Move house

Got to know that one of my buddy came back from KL and he's moving his house today. I offered my little assistance to him and he gladly accepted.

We moved some of his much more precious and fragile stuff over first, CPU, monitors and LCD tv. When we reached his new place, everyone already started unloading the stuff from mover's lorry. One of the movers... used his slipper to jam in between the gap from the lift's door. 0_0! I didn't know u can jam a lift like that.. LOL... while someone us might use some heavy stuff to block one of the side of the lift door, he just use the most basic of them all... a side of slipper.. just like that.. whoosh! jammed. I was inside and quickly whipped out my cellphone and took a shot...

sorry, i kinda snapped part of my finger in the process but u get the idea.. :p

CNY Office Deco

Chinese Niu Year... i mean New year... is coming. Anyone decorated their office cube yet?

Our art director Mr Ng was kind enough to direct us where to hang those pineapples... simply because he's on of them.. :p

I've become the victim of forced labor.. just because of my height i'm automatically selected as the slave to hang those decos in high areas... -_-!

Penang Hill Outing 2009

Let's see.. new year... new outing... first outing destination was set~! --> Penang Hill. This time a lot of the gang turned out leh... a total of 11 of us! Good Job guys...

Breakfast at the dim sum house opposite of Sunshin Farlim cos that's the place I can think off -_-!

3 cars...1 destination... move out! This time we snapped a lot of group photos since it's quite a big crowd.


We took the funicular train(cable car) up and it was only RM4 for the trip up n down. Quite cheap if you ask me... I forgot when was the last time I took the train up but mostly me and my friends used to hike up there...

Nice view..not to mention quite windy too. :D

Had fun snapping and walking towards the canopy walk but we already expect it to be closed.. just would like to snap and walk together.

Overall.. nice. : ) but we didn't make it for any sunrise or sunset shots.. :p .. gang, anyone up for sunrise or sunset at PenangHill? LOL...
