Streetphotography @ Georgetown
I've decided to join shutterbugs for their outing this week. Guess what, my prayers were answered! Its clear blue skies baby! Their last outing last week were hit by rain so they had to end the shooting prematurely around Gama area.
So this week I joined them where they left off last week, started off at the street opposite of Gama and walked a few blocks there.
A lot of them are geared up with dSLRs with some really nice lens (zoom I presume with the lens hood in front) and certainly some with prosumer and not sure anyone went with pns camera or not. Followed them along the trails as everyone starting shooting away.
Half way around the blocks we stopped at a coffee shop to have a drinks as it was quite hot around 10am. The shoot continued on till 10:45am and ends.
Overall quite nice experience. You might have live near your neighborhood for a few decades but its a whole level of difference when you actually travel with your own foot and paid attention to your surrounding objects to shoot not to mention angles are important as well.
A good photographer keeps a eye for specific objects and linked them together and compose the shots at a certain angle that would produce an excellent picture. That's something I'm learning along the way and hopefully improve my photography.
